Luke is a well-known Senior Executive within the minerals industry. Over the past 20 years, he has worked in research, commercialisation, and global mining organisations, focussing on technologies that improve resource productivity, reduce energy use, and lower carbon emissions.

Passionate about creating technologies that bring financial benefits and help improve the world, Luke has implemented innovative solutions across South America, Australia, and Africa.  Before joining NetCarb, he led the Carbon Mineralisation Program at Anglo American’s Technology Development Group, where he worked on integrating mineral processing with carbon mineralisation technologies.

As the former Chief Operating Officer at CRC ORE, Luke managed a $100 million applied research portfolio, founded the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Mining Innovation Hub, and led the development and commercialisation of Grade Engineering® technologies, contributing to the company’s strategic success.

In addition to his corporate work, Luke is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and contributes as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland. He has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed mining and geoscience publications and has received numerous academic awards.
